SERVICES AVAILABLE
- There will be emergency ambulance service, fire brigade, first aid, medical examiner and police.
- TheBus will operate during public holidays. visit thebus.org for routes and other information.
- Skyline will operate during normal hours, from 4 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Visit honolulu.gov/skyline for rider information.
- parks, botanical gardens, municipal golf courses and the Honolulu Zoo will be open
- The Ho’omaluhia Botanical Garden is closed on Thursdays.
- Garbage will be collected. Transfer stations, convenience centers, H-POWER and the Waimānalo Gulch sanitary landfill will be open. visit envhonolulu.org for more information.
CLOSED OR CANCELED SERVICES
- The Neal S. Blaisdell Center box office will remain closed.
- The Popular Open Markets will not be held.
- Satellite town halls and driver’s license centers will be closed.
- All Hawaii State Library branches will be closed on Thursday, June 11. See the holiday calendar.
TRAFFIC AND PARKING REGULATIONS
- Street parking will be free, except for the meters on Kalākaua Avenue along Queen Kapi’olani Park, the metered parking lots and the certain streets in Waikīkī.
- Traffic lanes will not be tapered due to counterflow.
